Altrincham’s thriving office location
Over 4,600 sq ft has been let at Market Court, Garden Lane, Altrincham which continues to attract new occupiers as well as retaining existing businesses in this popular office location within a minutes’ walk of all the town amenities
A growing volume of work and increase in staff has prompted ETC Tax to relocate its head office to larger premises in Altrincham. The business helps its clients achieve their personal and commercial objectives in a tax efficient manner by making sense of complex tax legislation. It has taken 1,850 sq ft of office accommodation on a five year lease.
Managing director, Angela Wood, said: “Altrincham was an ‘ideal location’ for dealing with an influx of work from across the area. Although we have seen an increase in work from clients nationwide, there’s been a noticeable rise in demand for our services from both companies and high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs in the North West.
“Having outgrown our Lymm office, Altrincham seemed the logical place to move to. As well as being close to Manchester and easily accessible to other cities throughout the region, the town has its own thriving vibrant business community, including a number of our existing clients and contacts.”
Consensus Property Ltd along with its office fit out specialist, Consensus Workspace Ltd, have taken 1,268 sq ft on a 10 year lease relocating from their office in the town at 6 The Downs.
Consensus Workspace was appointed by Calderpeel to carry out the remodelling of various suites in Market Court.
Paul Thompson, director, Consensus: said: “When we were asked by Harry Calder to look at the plans for Market Court, we bought into the vision he had for the property and decided we could not miss the opportunity to showcase what our fit out team can offer to clients. The move is ideal for us as Consensus Workspace looks to double its first year turnover to £4m in the next 12 months.”
Xanalys, who specialise in providing powerful software for investigation case management, has extended its lease to 1,500 sq ft of office space for nine years.
Paul Miller, director, said: “With a number of international contracts secured in 2019 and excellent prospects for further projects being awarded in 2020 onwards, Xanalys has decided to extend its office space at its software development offices in Altrincham. The Market Court offices provide an excellent location close to Altrincham’s transport hub and local amenities.”
Daniel Lee, director, Regional Property Solutions, who acted for the owner occupiers Calderpeel Architects, said: “Calderpeel carried out a stylish refurbishment of the vacant office suites and common areas in this 10,000 sq ft self-contained three storey office building. It has been extremely successful with the rental level moving on considerably from five years ago increasing to £17.50 per sq ft while attracting quality tenants on longer leases.”
