International finance specialist expands operations with Yorkshire city office opening
Clearwater International will be opening a new office in Yorkshire in 2020 as the business continues to grow its national and international footprint.
Clearwater currently has four UK offices in Manchester, London, Birmingham and Nottingham. This opening is said to bring the total number of offices to 17 across nine countries in Europe and Asia.
The new office is centrally located in Leeds and will be headed by partner and dealmaker Richard Goldsack. Debt advisory will be led by Glenn Clarke, director at Clearwater International.
Richard has joined Clearwater International with 20 years of experience of corporate finance across the UK and Australia and has experience advising entrepreneurs, corporates and private equity, having worked as a corporate finance partner at Ernst & Young and, most recently, Grant Thornton.
The opening follows the company’s latest partnership with Milan-based Brera Financial Advisory announced in September 2019.
Phil Burns, Clearwater International UK’s managing partner, concluded: “We already have a well-established office in Manchester with a great network of clients in the area; increasing our North East presence will enable us to increase this reach.
“Our new office will benefit from Clearwater International’s global presence and sector expertise. We look forward to welcoming Richard and the official opening of the office in the new year.”
