Yorkshire developers help US manufacturer move into new UK-based unit
A US surgical equipment manufacturer expanding into the UK has moved into units developed by Yorkshire-based developers Priority Space.
LeMaitre Vascular, headquartered in Burlington USA, has established its first UK base in Hereford.
It now occupies four office suites in Stirling House at Centenary Park which have been developed by Priority Space in partnership with Hereford County Council and the Hunt Group.
Entrepreneurs Adam Richardson and Lee Buchanan set up Priority Space in 2012.
The company based in Barnsley and Sheffield develops sites in Yorkshire and around the UK to create sustainable commercial spaces which stimulate regeneration and growth.
Priority Space has recently developed speculative industrial units at Doncaster Sheffield Airport and Barrowfield Business Park at Thurnscoe in Barnsley.
Adam Richardson, co-director at Priority Space, said: “It’s great to be able to be part of LeMaitre Vascular’s expansion into the UK.
“The UK market is in short supply of small industrial, retail and office space, so we’re working closely with our partners across the UK, including government agencies, local authorities and private landowners to deliver high-quality developments which meet the needs of SMEs.”
The company will use its new UK warehouse and office facility at Centenary Park in Hereford to ship products to UK and Irish hospitals. Centenary Park is part of the government-backed Hereford Enterprise Zone scheme.
