Work begins on industrial development at Doncaster Sheffield Airport's Aero Centre
Construction has begun on two speculative industrial units on a plot adjacent to Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA).
Sheffield firm JF Finnegan has started working on the 45,876 sq ft and 59,159 sq ft units, known as Avion, on behalf of Trebor Developments and partner Hillwood.
Scheduled to be ready for occupation from Q2 next year, the units are located at the Aero Centre on the site of the airport and available on a leasehold or freehold basis.
The units are the latest industrial developments to be constructed at the airport, with Trebor also seeking permission for the 409,000 sq ft Gateway 4 development.
Bob Tattrie, managing partner of Trebor, said: “These two, mid box, industrial high quality units are being developed speculatively in a great location with all the benefits of airport connectivity.
He added: “We expect strong interest from a wide range of occupiers.”
