Rob O’Shaughnessy named as site manager for new homes development in Chippenham

David Wilson Homes has appointed Rob O’Shaughnessy as senior site manager for its Birds Marsh View development - a brand new community in Chippenham.

From nearby Westbury, Rob is overseeing construction for the 147 David Wilson Homes properties at the site, working closely with his colleagues, subcontractors and suppliers.

Rob has previously worked as site manager on a number of developments including for David Wilson Homes, and is looking forward to creating houses people can turn into a home from as early as next year.

“I left the army and worked in a few roles that just didn’t interest me, and then I was offered a role utilising my skills in construction management, and the rest is history! I really enjoy working in such a big team and being able to create something together that will last as a community for many years to come.

“We’ve only just started here at Birds Marsh View so there’s a lot to do, but we have a great team and I’m looking forward to seeing the progress we make in the coming months. This is going to be a lovely development for buyers in the area, and as someone who moved to the area myself just over a year ago, I can highly recommend it!”
