Life insurance firm sparks new gift-sharing partnership to award UK employers
Wellbeing life insurance company yulife has partnered with micro-gifting platform Huggg.
Huggg will be joining a list of household names like Amazon, Nike, Asos and Avios. yulife deals with life insurance for companies to focus on the health and wellbeing of their staff.
Named by Forbes as the ‘number one startup to watch’ in 2019, Huggg allows users to send gifts, or ‘hugggs’ - in the form of coffees, cakes, cinema tickets and other treats - to colleagues or customers.
Huggg’s CEO, Paul Wickers, said: “This is a promising partnership for us, especially since Huggg and yulife share so many of the same principles.
“Both platforms have an ethos based on a commitment to wellbeing, especially in the workplace, so it seemed like a natural next step to link up. Now yulife users can earn their yucoin to spend on gifts for themselves.
“So, after walking and running or meditating to clear your head, you can spend your well-earned yucoin on a favourite coffee, for example. It’s these little bonuses that go a long way to make our days that bit better.”
yulife CEO, Sammy Rubin, concluded: “yulife seeks to empower employees to take control of their health and wellbeing, but now we can also offer our users the chance to look out for one another.
“With the new Huggg feature on the yulife app, users will have even more choice when it comes to spending their ‘yucoin’.”
