Recruitment director supports Hortor vision

Hortor, the global strategic resourcing consultancy, has promoted Niall Cook to Recruitment Director to support the company’s ambitious five-year plan to become a £100m turnover business.

With UK offices in Leeds and London, the organisation hopes to become a recruiter of choice, while also offering managed services to the digital, IT and tech sector.

Delivering specialist talent, the company invested more than £500,000 in the last 18-months and expects to appoint a further 20 recruits during 2020, further extending its global footprint and the portfolio of clients it works with.

Having worked for the business for a year, Niall will manage the recruitment teams, develop the employer value proposition and support the operational structure across the Hortor Group and its six offices in Leeds, London, Malaysia, Slovakia, North America and Costa Rica.

Working with a variety of organisations from SMEs to Fortune 500 businesses, Niall will continue to deliver for clients and add value through the consultative approach that the company offers.

He comments: “I was initially attracted to Hortor as I saw the potential and ambition of the business. Twelve months on and I am celebrating a promotion and looking forward to the year ahead. We have some incredible talent in the organisation, and I know that the culture and model will support us as we set our targets to achieve £100m in five-years.

“We want Hortor to become a recruiter of choice and I see no reasons why that cannot happen. We have an incredible workforce and fantastic clients. I am very much looking forward to being a part of our expansion both within the UK and across the globe.”

Joint CEO of Hortor, Andy Nicholson, comments: “Niall has been a valued member of the team since he joined us last year. We always say that hard work will be rewarded and that is certainly the case in this instance.

“We are very excited about the future and have set out sights on securing £100m in five-years. With a strong and ambitious senior team that have the right approach and values, we see no reason why this wouldn’t be the case.”
