North East Optician Shares the Christmas Spirit With Crisis
A homeless charity based in the North East has received a generous donation of much needed items and access to quality eye care for its service users. Crisis received the generous offer from the team at Concept Eye Clinic in Gosforth after they appealed for help over the festive period.
Crisis is a charity which works with twelve areas across the UK and Scotland with the aim of putting an end to homelessness. They assist people who are homeless or are facing homelessness to access suitable accommodation. `
The Managing Director of Concept Eye Clinic explained he was only too happy to offer support. Mr Kumar said “Homelessness is a serious and growing concern. We have worked with Crisis service users over the years to provide eye care and will continue to support the vital work of this charity. We also plan to find ways to help the skylight cafe in 2020.”
Crisis appeals for donations from local businesses and the general public. Vital items such as gloves, hats and scarves can ensure that a homeless person keeps warm over the festive period.
