Spreading Christmas Kindness
Charities and children’s groups across the region have been receiving deliveries of Christmas presents from dealership which are part of family-owned Swansway Motor Group.
This is the sixth year of the Swansway Santa Patrol and teams from across the group’s sites have been spreading Christmas joy. Director, David Smyth explained, “This is our sixth year on Santa Patrol and for us it truly embodies the meaning of Christmas”.
“We’re a family business and family is at the heart of Christmas. For far too many children Christmas is not the magical time it should be and we hope that these Christmas presents help make this time of year just a little bit more special for these children and their families”.
The VW Van Centre in Preston delivered presents to the Foxton Centre, which supports homeless families and the Wish Centre which cares for those affected by domestic abuse.
Swansway Honda Bolton delivered their presents to Endeavour which supports families fleeing domestic abuse; whilst Blackburn Audi donated to Safenet another local charity which helps those experiencing domestic abuse, offering a safe haven for children who are affected by abuse in their own home.
Preston Audi joined together with the other northern dealerships to donate presents to Derian House Children’s Hospice, which supports children across the region. While Carlisle Audi donated gifts to Cash for Kids toy appeal.
