Leading App Development Agency Celebrates 10 Years In Business

Sonin, one of the UK’s leading digital product development agencies, has celebrated 10 successful years in business.

Founded in 2009 by Managing Director, Paul Jarrett - a pioneer of the industry renowned for building mobile applications long before the app store came to fruition - Sonin now employs a team of 20 talented digital product development specialists, experienced in the development of bespoke applications that generate revenue and increase efficiency.

In successfully competing with large organisations like Accenture and PWC, Sonin boasts extensive experience in the FinServ sector and has helped clients to develop a series of applications that are changing the way both consumers and businesses manage their money, integrating with some of the UK’s biggest banks.

Having surpassed the 7-figure turnover milestone in 2017, the agency now has ambitious plans to grow its client base and headcount, working with leading companies through an agile approach to help them move fast, stay lean and drive growth.

Paul Jarrett confirmed: “Sonin has come an incredibly long way since launching it from my garden shed 10 years ago. Aside from feeling extremely proud of what we have achieved to date, our extensive experience over the last decade has meant we now have a proven track record in successfully building digital products that help businesses generate revenue and increase efficiency.”

“A fundamental example is our work with pharmaceutical firm, Eli Lily, where we were commissioned to set up the entire mobile infrastructure in 9 different territories across Europe. This included the development of a suite of products for the Elanco brand, empowering vets and pet-owners alike wherever they are in the world. It’s a great example of the work that we conduct for clients on a consistent basis.”

Having received multiple industry and regional awards including Best Use of Digital at the Digital Surrey Awards, Software Innovation of the Year at the Digital Entrepreneur Awards and App Developer of the Year at the UK App Awards, Sonin draws talent from across the entire South East region and has a strong gender mix, with 45% of its team made up of women.

Forecast to grow an additional 30% by the close of 2020, Paul has ambitious plans to continue to position Sonin as a key player in the industry, working with businesses across core sectors such as financial services and retail.

Headquartered in Reigate, Surrey, Sonin also has offices in Edinburgh and Paris, following a successful international expansion strategy executed in 2018.
