Brough Primary School splashes out on new playboat, with help from Barratt Homes

Local five-star housebuilder, Barratt Homes Yorkshire East, has continued to support the communities in which it builds by contributing £750 to a playboat at Brough Primary School.

Barratt Homes was approached by Brough Primary School to contribute towards the school’s much needed new play equipment, and as part of its ongoing commitment to support local communities, the housebuilder was more than happy to help.

Emma Watson, Sales Adviser from the nearby Harrier Chase development in Brough, was delighted to get her hands on deck and visit the Key Stage One class at Brough Primary School and see the new playboat being used by the excited children.

Emma Watson commented: “When we were approached by Brough Primary School for a donation we were more than happy to help. Part of our work in local communities sees us supporting worthy causes, especially with local schools. It’s great seeing the children get so much joy from the playboat and hope it provides more fun for years to come.”

Sue Marshall, School Business Manager at Brough Primary School, commented:“ We’re extremely grateful for Barratt Homes Yorkshire East and its contribution of £750 towards the school’s playboat. The previous playboat desperately needed replacing and without the help of such generous donations, this wouldn’t have been possible.“

Harrier Chase, in Brough, offers a selection of homes comprising luxurious three and four-bedroom styles. The development’s location boasts great transport links for easy and fast travel around the region – perfect for first time buyers and growing families alike.
