£4m West Yorkshire manufacturing facility set to create over 70 jobs
The parent company of a Yorkshire ambulance manufacturer is set to create new jobs with the opening of a new manufacturing facility in the region.
Venari Group, which owns Goole-based firm O&H Vehicle Technology, has announced plans to begin manufacturing at the factory next month.
O&H Vehicle Technology already has an annual turnover of £25m, building vehicles for the majority of UK’s NHS Trusts.
The group, which is investing £4m into the new facility, plans to create over 70 jobs initially, as part of its plan to expand into wider emergency services and security markets.
Venari Group CEO, Oliver North, commented: “We’re thrilled to unveil the blueprint for our growth plans, which begin in early 2020.
“At a time when many may choose to tread more carefully than usual, we’re investing in new employees, new technology and sophisticated plant machinery.
“Venari’s new headquarters will serve as a benchmark for the group philosophy of lean and world-class production, in conjunction with an unrivalled culture, positive atmosphere and incredible working conditions.”
