Consultancy expands Newcastle base following multi-million pound contract wins

A property and construction specialist has moved to larger premises after securing £3.5m of new contracts in the past 12 months.

Henry Riley, which has a network of sites across the UK, Australia and South Africa, has relocated its Newcastle office to 33 Grey Street in the centre of the city.

Previously occupying offices in Higham Place, the firm appointed Newcastle-based Aptus Fit Out to renovate the new premises.

The move follows a year of growth for the consultancy, which secured work on two multi million-pound leisure schemes in Northumberland as well as a £35m retail village at Scotch Corner.

Joel Neasham, senior associate at the Newcastle office of Henry Riley, commented: “The office move comes at the end of a fantastic year for Henry Riley.

“In the last twelve months we’ve won contracts on several high-profile schemes across the leisure, commercial, transport and infrastructure, education, industrial and logistics, healthcare, retail and residential sectors. This, and our move to Grey Street, has set us up nicely for further expansion.

“We’ll continue to seek opportunities across the northern half of the UK and capitalise on emerging technologies to make construction projects even more efficient.”
