Northumberland residential development takes shape with two thirds of construction completed
A housing development in Northumberland is progressing with pace with two thirds of the homes completed.
Housing developer Bellway has already built 64 properties at Essendene Rise off Freeman Way, a residential scheme in North Seaton set to provide 92 new homes.
Comprising two, three and four-bedroom houses with gardens and private parking, the development also has two show homes.
Head of sales for Bellway North East, Chris Lawson, commented: “We’ve had an incredibly positive response to the new homes at Essendene Rise, where our site team has worked tirelessly to make sure that the houses they build meet the highest standards of workmanship.
“We have seen plenty of young people buying at the development taking full advantage of the incentives available, such as the Help to Buy scheme, which has been very popular with our customers.
“It’s clear from the demand we’ve seen here that there’s a real need for new housing in the area, but customers have also been attracted by Essendene Rise’s fantastic location. Ashington’s many amenities are close by, it’s a short drive from the coast and it’s within commuting distance of Newcastle.”
