Bannatyne health club in Stratford upon Avon opens doors to local charity
The Bannatyne health club Wildmoor (Stratford upon Avon) is demonstrating its community credentials with support for local charity Young Minds Matter. The Alcester Road club is providing office space as a ‘hotdesk’ for the charity to operate from three days a week. Young Minds Matter provides mentoring support to young people aged seven to 25, working with schools and families in the local area. It receives no public funding and relies entirely on donations and fundraising events. Jade Williams, general manager at the Bannatyne health club and spa Wildmoor, said: “This is a fantastic charity that does great work with young people in our locality. As a club our ethos is to be an active part of the community and we are delighted to welcome Young Minds Matter to our site.” Sally Bass, trustee and mentor of Young Minds Matter, said: “We are so grateful to Bannatyne’s for allowing use of an office within the health club. “This gesture will allow us to use more funds to directly benefit the young people we support and to employ additional mentors to work with those in need of our services.”
