London staffing business sees record £1.35bn revenue
A London staffing business saw a record multi-billion pound revenue for 2019.
SThree, which specialises in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects, announced that as well as a record £1.35bn revenue, it achieved record profits of £60m.
The company’s revenue was up by 6 per cent from the previous year, and profit grew by 9 per cent.
It also reported that it ended the year with a net cash position of £10.6m, having seen strong growth of its services internationally.
Mark Dorman, the CEO of SThree, said: “This performance is a result of the hard work delivered throughout the business over the period.
“Our focus on STEM and flexible working is delivering good overall growth despite a challenging trading background.
“Looking to the year ahead, we will continue to invest in our people, data and technology as we execute against our focused strategy.
“Whilst early in the year, we can see that broader macro-economic and political uncertainties may well persist, and the trading environment remains similar to Q4.
“We have the right strategy, are in the right sectors and geographies, and our contract focus will allow us to drive another year of progress towards our ambitions.”
