Wrexham Dealership Named Best in UK

Family-owned and run, Wrexham Volkswagen has beaten every other dealership in the UK, to be crowned Volkswagen Dealership of the Year 2019, the second consecutive year the business has scooped this award.

Volkswagen has 200 centres in the UK, and Wrexham came out top of them all; jubilant Brand Manager, Gary Wood commented, “What a brilliant result, I’m so pleased for every single one of the team at Wrexham Volkswagen, they’re all fantastic and this shows that consistent hard work really does reap rewards”.

The Volkswagen One Business Awards are a celebration of balanced scorecard results, which mean outstanding performance in all areas, all of the time, with a bias towards giving great customer service, “To win this award the dealership has to have performed exceptionally, month after month; a massive achievement, once, never mind twice in a row, particularly for us, a smaller centre, in North Wales, when you consider we’re up against every other VW centre in the UK, our results speak for themselves “, added Gary.

Crewe Volkswagen, also part of family-owned Swansway Motor Group, came in fourth place, meaning Swansway was named as the Volkswagen Dealer Group of the Year 2019, again for a second consecutive year.

An elated, John Smyth, Swansway Group director commented, “What a result! I am absolutely delighted for the group, winning a manufacturer’s award takes consistent hard work and determination, so, I want to say massive congratulations to our Volkswagen Brand Director, Ben Gilbert; Crewe VW Brand Manager, Andy Poole, but with special thanks to Gary Wood and his amazing Wrexham team; what an achievement”.
