Simpson Millar Relocates to new Liverpool Base
Leading national law firm Simpson Millar has relocated its Liverpool team to new offices in the City’s iconic Albert Docks.
The move into the distinguished Edwards Pavilion building is reflective of the firm’s ambitions to raise its profile within Liverpool and across the North West; providing a base from which it can strengthen existing partnerships, and help to establish new networks in the region.
Commenting on the move which took place earlier this week Ian Cohen, the firm’s National Head of Personal Injury and Medical Negligence, said it would also secure easier access for clients and colleagues alike, with staff also benefiting from a more ‘modern and flexible working environment’.
Forming part of the firm’s strategic growth plan to build one of the leading national consumer law firms in the UK, the relocation comes 16 months after Simpson Millar established a presence in Liverpool with the acquisition of EAD Solicitors. Ian Cohen, who is based in Liverpool, said: “This move to modern and centralised offices in the City’s beautiful and iconic Docks location forms part of our ongoing commitment to providing open, high quality legal services, delivered in an efficient and innovative way to clients across the region.
“The Albert Dock boasts great local amenities, as well as excellent proximity to major transport links which will improve accessibility for staff and clients alike.
“We are proud to be embracing a forward-thinking approach to both how and where we work – adopting a modern and flexible business structure that ensures we are best placed to respond to changes within the legal arena; opening up the law to clients as well as the evolving needs and expectations of our colleagues.
“As part of this we have invested heavily in our technology that will enable staff to operate remotely, which forms part of our ongoing commitment to promoting wellbeing and flexible working across the firm.”
Simpson Millar is a leading national consumer law firm delivering Personal injury and Private Client legal services including Conveyancing, Wills, Trusts and Probate, Court of Protection, Family Law, Industrial Disease and Clinical Negligence.
