Simpson Millar strengthens national private practice area team with Partner appointment
National law firm Simpson Millar has announced the expansion of its Private Practice Area team with the appointment of new Partner, Clare Fleming.
Joining from London and South East based Kidd Rapinet, she brings with her a wealth of experience in matters relating to Wills, Trusts and Probate, as well as particular expertise in high net worth estates, Lasting Power of Attorney matters, Personal Injury trusts and Court of Protection work including deputy orders.
The move sees Clare return to Lancaster where she studied law to help bolster Simpson Millar’s Partner presence in the North West and deliver private client services to clients across the region.
Her appointment forms part of the firm’s ongoing efforts to grow its Private Practice Area division which is overseen by senior management team member Sarah Ryan, and which also encompasses its Court of Protection, Conveyancing, Commercial Property, Dispute Resolution, Employment and Family Law departments.
Commenting on her appointment Clare said she was ‘looking forward’ to working with the wider team, and to being part of a national team with ‘ambitions for growth’.
Commenting on Clare’s appointment Sarah said, “Our Private Practice Area division has a well-established, strong reputation across the country, and we are committed to continue to bolster our partner offering across the core teams to ensure we offer our clients the very best service.
“We’re delighted to now have Clare onboard operating out of our Lancaster office. Her wealth of experience and knowledge on all matters relating to Wills, Trusts and Probate further enhances our offering in the North West and I’m confident that she will be a great addition to the local and national team.”
