IT consultancy sees 20 per cent turnover growth following workforce upgrade
A Yorkshire IT consultancy has announced a nearly 20 per cent increase in turnover following expansion over the last year.
BJSS, which develops digital transformation projects, saw revenue of £140.2m in 2019, compared to £117.4m in the previous year.
The growth in revenue mirrors the company’s own growth, going from 775 members of staff to 956.
The company also opened new offices during the year, and appointed new managing director Stuart Bullock.
Stuart commented: “We are pleased to have delivered another set of solid results, underpinned by great revenues and continued growth.
“We continue to invest in our approach to the market and strengthen our strategic advisory services.
“This is on the back of our strategy to play to our strengths, being one of the UK’s leading technology consultancies.
“We have also focused on building trust-based relationships with our customers, on making BJSS a great place to work and we’re seeing the results of this come through in the numbers.
“I’m particularly pleased that we have continued to grow our Leeds base, providing jobs and opportunities for the local area through our continued expansion.
“Our plan is to continue to grow: Grow our people, through investing in making it a great place to work, grow our services to our customers by continuing to build on our strong technology experience, and grow our business in a sustainable way.”
