Delicatessen led by former Ritz chef launches in Chelsea
A new delicatessen specialising in gourmet dining has opened its doors in Chelsea this week.
Property management firm Sloane Stanley has announced that new concept Colette has launched on Fulham Road.
Led by former Ritz Hotel chef Chris Hill, the 861 sq ft venue offers a range of seasonal sustainable produce for home cooking and gourmet dining, as well as wines and champagnes.
Dimitri Plaquet, co-founder of Colette, commented: “With the outstanding mix of culinary leaders in Chelsea ranging from Badiani to Orée, Fulham Road was an obvious choice when choosing an area within which to make our international debut.
“We believe we are bringing something slightly different to the area, encompassing both gourmet deli and wine shop functionality, and look forward to becoming an entrenched part of the well-respected food-scene here in Chelsea.”
Commenting on the opening, Hannah Grievson, property director at Sloane Stanley, said: “We are thrilled to have signed a debut European brand, especially one carrying Chris Hill’s credentials, to our increasingly diversifying food and beverage portfolio.
“There has been high demand for a deli option on the estate, and the introduction of Colette fulfils this requirement whist adding an exciting new facet to our dining offer. Colette offers visitors the opportunity to take home fine dining quality ingredients in order to create their own culinary delights.
“With a stunning interior fitout and a discerning foodie customer base from the local area, we are confident the brand will quickly become an established Fulham Road favourite.”
