County Durham estate agency lays foundations for growth with office launch
A North East estate agency is set for expansion with the launch of its new office in a multi-million pound Darlington development.
County Durham firm Vickers & Barrass is set to move into a new 70 sq m office at Darlington Farmers Auction Mart’s new site at Humbleton Park.
Vickers & Barrass, which specialises in professional estate agency and surveying services for residential, agricultural and commercial property, will continue to operate from its Tow Law base as well as the new Darlington office.
Employing 12 full and part time staff, the firm has seen its residential and commercial activity increase by 12 per cent in the last 12 months, and is now set to build on its growth in 2020.
Adam Barrass, chartered surveyor and practice manager, commented: “We are busier than ever, investing to secure growth and increasingly developing our footprint in the regional property market with a business that’s on the rise, but at the same time not forgetting our rural roots and the farming clientele who make the business the success that it is today.
“Our new Darlington office will give us the space we need for growth, enabling our team, which offers a range of services to suit all requirements, to better serve our markets across the North of England.
He added: “It will lay the foundations as we continue to go from strength to strength.”
