Mini golf firm expands US reach with double site signings
An indoor mini golf experience that began in London is set for further expansion in the US with two new site signings.
Puttshack has continued to build on its presence across the pound with two new sites planned in Chicago and Miami.
The Chicago site will be located in the retail and entertainment complex Oakbrook Center in the city’s western suburb, occupying more than 25,000 sq ft and scheduled to open late 2020.
In Miami, Puttshack will join Bricknell City Centre in the city’s financial district, and will be the brand’s first ever three-story location. Set to open early 2021, the new venue will occupy 29,000 square feet and will include an outdoor terrace.
The Chicago-founded firm originally opened its first Puttshack in July 2018 at Westfield London White City.
Joe Vrankin, CEO of Puttshack, said: “Given Puttshack’s global headquarters are based here in the US, the expansion into the market was a natural fit.
“Chicago is exciting as it is the birthplace of Puttshack - with our global head office based in the city.
“Miami is a real first for us as it is set to span across three stories, overlooking the iconic city skyline, it is set to be a unique, high-energy space.”
