225-home development in North Yorkshire market town gets green light
Planning permission has been granted for a development that will deliver hundreds of new homes in North Yorkshire.
Developer Countryside has officially received planning permission for the Manor Woods residential scheme in Kirkbymoorside.
Situated on former agricultural land just outside of the market town, the development will see the construction of 225 two, three and four bedroom properties.
The first homes of the development will be available to buy from March.
Christopher Penn, regional operations director at Countryside, commented: “We are delighted to be officially launching our Manor Woods development here in Kirkbymoorside.
“We have a proven track record right across the country for delivering high quality and affordable homes where we’ve identified demand and we’re eager to bring this experience to Yorkshire.
“We’ve worked very closely with the council throughout this process to ensure the new Manor Woods neighbourhood not only provides beautiful family homes but leaves a positive legacy for the wider community here in Kirkbymoorside.”
