People Matters HR Scoops Top Industry Awards
Leading Bury HR are celebrating after scooping a top accolade in a prestigious industry award. People Matters HR was crowned Advocate of the Year for the second year running in the Breathe HR Awards, beating off stuff competition from across the entire UK.
Award-winning People Matters HR are one of the North West’s leading consultancies offering a fresh new approach to managing HR in the SME market. The company was founded in 2011 by Niel Cope, to provide businesses across the region with a bespoke, Director-level outsourced HR solution at a fraction of the cost, allowing customers to create strong leaders, engaged teams and a better ROI. The impressive client list includes: UAP Limited, Eventura, Rowe Hankins Ltd, Z-arts, and Freedom Logistics.
The Advocate of the Year award was all the more poignant to the Bury-based organisation as it was awarded to two companies the first time in its history. People Matters HR have been peer mentoring HR Central in Reading, the joint winner of the category, and this collaboration and sharing of knowledge epitomises everything that the award scheme is about. People Matters HR also achieved Highly Commended in three additional categories - Best Partner Website, Best Social Media strategy and Partner of the Year. The business rounded off a hugely successful evening being awarded the Breathe Platinum Partner Award, making them only one of a handful of UK businesses to achieve this accolade. Winners were by a panel of leading industry experts.
The Breathe HR Awards are run by Breathe HR, the number one, cloud-based HR software solution for SMEs in the UK. They were devised to celebrate and reward many of the exceptional partners in the HR industry across the length and breadth of the country. The results were announced at a glittering awards ceremony at the London’s De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms last week, which were attended by many of the industry’s leading business figures. Breathe’s accredited HR Partner Programme is designed for consultants looking to support their small to medium sized clients with HR software and streamline internal processes. The awards programme aims to celebrate collaborative successes and underline what can be achieved when businesses work together.
Jonathan Richards, CEO & Founder of Breathe, said: “At Breathe, what we aim to do is create an extensive partner ecosystem where likeminded companies are able to support each other, share ideas and ultimately grow their business. People Matters has demonstrated its dedication to supporting people and businesses in several of its award entries and therefore is well-deserving of these accolades.
“The People Matters team is clearly committed to culture and we’re thrilled they’ve proven the synergy and success that comes in partnership. It’s really clear from the case studies and anecdotes the value that the partner programme is bringing and it’s wonderful to see.”
Niel Cope, Managing Director said: “It’s a huge honour to be bringing the trophy for Advocate of the Year back to Bury for the second year, along with three Highly Commended recognitions. The Breathe awards really do showcase the best of the best in the HR world and the competition is tough. “At People Matters HR, it’s our mission to transform our client’s businesses through award-winning consultancy services that increases their profits through combining outstanding innovative thinking with fantastic value”.
