Pixel Kicks gets new Manchester Taxi Tours site on the road
Full service digital agency Pixel Kicks has created and launched a brand new website for leading tour company Manchester Taxi Tours. The core aims and objectives of the new site were to showcase the company’s new electric taxi, to drive sales and to improve the image, perception and standing of the company.
Manchester Taxi Tours was established by John Consterdine in 2009. Over the years, it has built up a first-class reputation for offering a unique insight into Manchester’s history, people and places.
Its range of tours include everything from the city centre and Coronation Street locations to Manchester United, Manchester City and the Commonwealth Games as well as food & drink and a whole host of bespoke itineraries for the city’s most famous musical exports including The Smiths, Oasis, The Stone Roses, James, Simply Red and Take That.
The project saw Pixel Kicks refresh and develop the entire website, starting with a completely new user journey including functionality that will now allow customers to book tours online for the first time.
Chris Buckley – MD of Pixel Kicks – said: “John is a fantastic character and real ambassador for Manchester so we wanted to create a site the really did him proud and truly reflected why he and his business are so special. Manchester is an incredibly forward-thinking city that is proud of its history so what could better than marrying the two by soaking up its heritage in the back of a state of the art and environmentally friendly electric taxi.”
John Consterdine added: “I’ve worked with Pixel Kicks since 2014 and the whole team really gets what I’m about. They’ve helped to develop my online strategy and drive enquiries, so this new modern, stylish and mobile-friendly site is the next phase in my journey. Also, with the success of the previous website, Pixel Kicks understands the need for continuity and the importance of ease of use for my clients.”
