Yorkshire homes on former farm worth £4m released to market

A collection of homes worth £4m has been launched to the market by a Yorkshire estate agent.

Whitehouse Farm, in Harrogate, is a collection of nine homes developed by Ailsa3 Developments.

The homes, which have been transformed from a former farm, are named after traditional farm buildings, and are now being marketed by Linley & Simpson.

The new development features a mix of two, three and four bedroom homes, with prices starting at £295k.

The two companies have previously worked together on the Broughton Court project two years ago, which saw the site of the former Henry Peacock pub transformed into a mix of apartments and retail outlets.

David Waddington, director of land and new homes at Linley & Simpson, said: “As well as retaining a link to its agricultural heritage, the names reflect the way this modern interpretation has been able to mirror the look and feel of a traditional farmstead.”

“These are individually-designed properties that set themselves apart from other new build properties from the ‘volume’ housebuilders that are available to the west of Harrogate – yet are in the same price bracket.”
