rradar appoints digital expert to lead growth programme

Leading litigation and commercial law firm rradar today announced the appointment of Naomi Timperley, one of the UK’s top digital and partnership consultants, to head up its strategic growth programmes.

This is a move which will further complement and expand Hull-based rradar’s business platform.

Naomi joins the specialist firm as Head of Growth Programmes and is responsible for developing and managing rradar’s strategic relationships with key business partners to build innovative educational programmes that support rradar’s aggressive growth strategy and service delivery for its clients.

With over 20 years of experience, Naomi is a highly accomplished partnerships and engagement leader with established relationships across the UK and globally. She has worked extensively with start-ups and growth businesses, particularly in tech, digital and creative sectors, and has mentored over 250 businesses throughout her career.

An immediate focus for Naomi is to oversee the management and performance of the ELITE rradar lounge, announced earlier this month.

Named by Computer Weekly as one of the top 25 Most Influential Women in UK IT 2019, Naomi has been inspiring businesses to strive for growth through innovation and disruption for over 10 years.

She is a published author, speaker and panellist, a graduate of the Meridian programme by Common Purpose and the Socrates programme by the Aspen Institute. In 2016, she co-founded Tech North Advocates which is part of Global Tech Advocates. In 2015, Naomi was part of the original Maserati 100 which was a definitive list of Britain’s most successful business leaders actively supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Naomi is also Chair of the University of Salford Business School Industry Advisory Board, sits on GMCA’s Innovation Board and is Chair of Digital Culture organisation Future Everything. Gary Gallen, founder and CEO of rradar, commented:

“I am very excited that Naomi has joined rradar in this role. Her ambition, strategic mindset, network and wealth of experience will help drive our future success by strengthening the relationships with key network partners and build new long-standing partnerships.”

“Naomi has a highly impressive reputation and track record, not only in partnerships and engagement strategies, but also across the digital and tech sectors and her incredible range of talent and experience will be extremely valuable to us,” he added.

“Her appointment greatly strengthens our ability to extend our services, products and proposition to new clients and strategic business partners, driving our business forward into a new decade.”

Naomi Timperley commented on her appointment: “I have had my eye on rradar for some time and it really has built a strong reputation in the market, not only as a leading law firm, but also through its application of technology in its service delivery to clients. I am excited to join rradar at such an exciting time in its growth journey.

“rradar is doing some really exciting things and truly disrupting the legal sector, and I am looking forward to working with Gary and the rradar team to deliver on its ambitious strategy and vision for its clients.”
