Cutting edge telephony system facilitates homeworking for Bury businesses
A cutting edge telephony system installed by Bury flex-space office provider BusinessLodge has arrived at just the right time to support it’s customers as they are forced to work from home during the current Covid-19 outbreak. The system was installed as the business centre demonstrated it’s commitment to customers with the investment of a cutting edge telephony system, designed to enhance the security, reliability and scalability of internal and external communications.
The investment comes as part of BusinessLodge’s drive to be at the forefront of innovation, fulfilling the requirements of the modern office environment while futureproofing it’s services, as more clients demand a digitally transformative way of doing business.
Bury Centre Manager Juliette Davenport explains more:
“The way we work is changing and businesses are expecting far more from their telephone systems than ever before. People want the flexibility to work in ways to suit their employees – be it from home, across multiple sites, or even across different time zones. At BusinessLodge, we’ve always moved with the times and the new system is a natural progression.
“During these incredibly tough times we’re delighted that we are able to offer our customers a solution to aid their business continuity”.
The business has installed The Avaya Aura® Platform across all four of it’s Bury buildings, to enhance employee reachability and collaboration to improve communication, gain alignment and work more seamlessly. BusinessLodge also offer an app as part of the new system, which can be installed on client’s mobile devices, enabling them to pick up calls wherever they are, as well as make calls displaying their main office number.
Debi Fellone of Made in Bury is one on the BusinessLodge clients who is already benefiting from the new phone system. She said:
“We’re absolutely delighted with the technology refresh and upgraded phone system in our office. As a busy marketing company, effective, seamless communications is absolutely pivotal to everything we do. We’re often out on the road and so the app on our mobiles means we can pick up our calls wherever we are – and this is, of course, now more crucial than ever.”
“As BusinessLodge provide the handsets free of charge we don’t have to outlay the initial capital expenditure or have the headache of maintenance”.
