Huddersfield firm doubles in size with acquisition of Leeds telecoms specialist
A Huddersfield telephone and IT services provider has expanded its regional footprint with the acquisition of a local telecoms firm.
Direct Voice and Data has acquired Leeds-based company Logical Telecom as part of its acquisition-led growth strategy.
The acquisition of Logical Telecom, which provides predominantly voice and mobile communication solutions, will bolster Direct Voice and Data’s existing internet unified communications proposition.
The new purchase, which will see Direct Voice & Data double in size, is set to result in a series of recruitment drives, with plans for the firm to further increase its headcount over the coming years.
Dave Henderson, group CEO of Direct Voice & Data, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Logical Telecom into our business.
“We searched long and hard for a right-fit acquisition, one that shared our culture and vision of keeping our customers at the centre of what we do.”
“Our customers will benefit from our increased capacity and additional expertise. We are looking forward to helping more organisations streamline their communications, meanwhile addressing demand and giving support to help cope with the current viral threat of coronavirus.”
