Bookworms! Barratt Developments launches brand new community reading initiative
Five-star housebuilder, Barratt Developments Yorkshire West has launched a brand new reading initiative at four of its developments across Barnsley, Bradford, Leeds and Rotherham to get the community reading in 2020.
As of March, little libraries will be installed in the sales offices at Salter’s Brook in Cudworth, Spring Valley View in Clayton, St Andrew’s Place in Morley and The Glassworks in Catcliffe to help local people kickstart, or re-discover their love for books.
The little libraries, which work on a ‘take a book, leave a book’ basis, will display a range of exciting titles for readers of all ages and tastes to enjoy.
Sam Wood, Sales Director at Barratt Developments Yorkshire West commented: “We’re really looking forward to launching another engaging activity for the community to get involved with. The little libraries are a really exciting initiative and we encourage local residents to collect a book and get involved!”
