Newcastle housing partnership to double scale of work across the North
A North East housing specialist has committed to doubling the scale of its work across multiple regions through its partnership with a local housing association.
Karbon Homes and Castles and Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) have committed to doubling the scale of their work together through the Karbon Solutions cost sharing vehicle.
The new agreement will see Karbon Homes provide services for around 8,000 homes across the North East and North West regions, increasing its scope by more than double.
Ian Johnson, director of property services at Karbon Homes, commented: “I am delighted to see our long-term partnership with CCHA grow further.
“This is the culmination of 12 months’ work to integrate these additional 3,000 homes into our existing arrangement.
“This will give CCHA full assurance that their customers’ heating systems are being maintained to the highest standards, with full transparency on costs.”
Rob Brittain, property services director at CCHA, added: “Since its inception, the partnership has had a clear focus on delivering a consistent high quality customer focused services that ensures our residents are safe in their homes.”
