Digital agency throws lifeline to quarantined yet aspiring developers with free, online course

Amid uncertain times, an award-winning digital product agency, is giving a glimmer of hope to aspiring developers by offering a free, online course in coding.

Surrey-based Sonin has pledged to help those who are stuck at home to hone their computer programming skills through a free online course with one-to-one support available, which will take place over the internet.

With no charge involved nor prior coding experience required, participants will be taught by the firm’s expert team of iOS and Android developers how to build an app from scratch – at a comfortable pace and from the comfort of their own sofa.

Paul Jarrett, Managing Director of Sonin, said: “We appreciate that a lot of people are currently finding themselves at home without work and wanted to offer them a silver lining, which is why we’ve decided to offer a free coding course.

“Not only will this give people a valuable set of skills to add to their CVs, but also give them the edge on other potential candidates for when things return to normal – which they absolutely will!’

“If you or someone you know have ever wanted to learn to code and build iOS and Android apps, we would love to hear from you.”

Founded in 2009 by Paul Jarrett, Sonin is a leading digital agency working with ambitious brands to build bespoke products. Headquartered in Surrey, the company also has international offices in Edinburgh and Paris.
