Leeds vehicle firm partners with national supermarket chain
A Yorkshire vehicle rental specialist has teamed up with a national supermarket chain to provide access to its fleet.
Nexus Vehicle Rental, which is based in Leeds, has supplied over 500 vehicles to supermarket retailer Morrisons to support their operations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The firm has allowed Morrisons to rapidly scale up its fleet to meet the increased demand for home delivery of groceries as a result of the government-mandated lockdown.
David Brennan, CEO at Nexus Vehicle Rental, commented: “Essential services in a variety of industries now urgently require access to flexible mobility supply networks to serve distributed communities across the country.
“Morrisons needed a rental supplier that could source and secure a large number of vans to add to its fleet, which Nexus was able to fulfil at short notice.
“For those retailers, couriers, logistics and utilities companies needing to rapidly scale up operations whilst mitigating costs, the options available through vehicle rental provide a timely, practical, cost-effective solution, enabling businesses to keep moving in these difficult times.”
