Beauty Entrepreneur Wins Prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise
A Bolton and London based beauty entrepreneur, Hanna Putjato aged 35, who owns and runs global Lash brand – London Lash Pro, has won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2020.
The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are issued annually and are awarded to celebrate the success of exciting and innovative businesses which are leading the way across different categories, including trade, innovation and sustainable development. London Lash wins the Queen’s Award for International Trade for Outstanding Short Term Growth.
London Lash Pro was established in 2014, employs over 40 members of staff, and is now a leader in the global eyelash industry providing over 50,000 eyelash technicians with the products they need to be able to perform lash treatments.
Hanna Putjato, Managing Director of London Lash Pro said: “To have won this award, especially in such early stages of our business, is a true honour.
“I knew six years ago that there was a gap in the Lash market so took my chance. To be recognised for my innovation and success with such an accolade is amazing and makes all our hard work even more worthwhile.”
London Lash Pro also offers training for beginners and advanced eyelash treatment providers and sells products through its e-commerce website.
London Lash sells across Europe, North and South America and Australasia and its top five markets are France, USA, Slovenia, Germany and Belgium.
Overseas sales have increased steeply over the last three years from £196k to £1.8million and represents a 45% of total sales. Despite the global pandemic, Lash London Pro has forecasted international sales of £ 2.25m in the current financial year.
