Huddersfield Web Design Agency Beanie Media appointed as website partner for national not for profit organisation.
Huddersfield Web Design Agency, Beanie Media, has been appointed as official website partner by chit-chat to support its ambitious plans to connect the nation through conversation.
Born during the peak of a global pandemic and unprecedented isolation, chit-chat aims to tackle loneliness and mental health by offering an anonymous dial-in call line from 9 am to 9 pm.
The chit-chat LINE encourages casual discussion for anyone who simply wants to speak about their day, with calls answered by a suite of passionate volunteers.
Beanie Media will be responsible for developing chit-chat’s website and implementing features to make the conversational service accessible to everyone as the organisation grows.
Commenting on the appointment, Beanie Media’s Co-founder, Melissa Roberts, said “We are absolutely thrilled to be using our digital expertise to aid chit-chat in connecting as many people as possible through conversation. It is an amazing service and has the opportunity to save many people from not just the loneliness of the COVID-19 lockdown, but in general.”
CEO and Founder of chit-chat, Lewis Baxter, added “We are delighted to work with Beanie Media to build our website. We’ve already connected with 52,000 people since launching in March 2020, our new website will allow us to amplify the way we connect with people who would like our help.”
