IRIS Software Group Appoints Verosa to Run Leadership & Development Programme...Now From Afar
IRIS Software Group has partnered with the executive coaching, leadership and management training consultancy, Verosa, to execute the company’s leadership and development programme from afar.
The appointment – which preceded the Coronavirus crisis - is part of IRIS’ long-term plans to substantially build skills and competencies throughout the business. The new business context has meant that the programme has been launched online as well as through face to face learning.
Verosa’s leadership and development initiative will support IRIS employees as they develop into, and thrive, in management positions. The comprehensive, tailor-made programme will equip leaders and managers with the best practice tools, models and insights to create an engaging environment for their teams. The modules in the programme will run throughout 2020 and 2021, cascading through the leadership team and throughout all levels of management.
Stephanie Kelly, Chief People Officer at IRIS Software Group says, “It’s vital our employees can be confident we are supporting them at every stage of their career, and leaders and managers in the business play a critical role in this. For us, it was imperative that this development focus was not lost or side-lined in the current crisis. Now more than ever businesses need good leadership and management.
“As we prepare for the next stage of our growth and tomorrow’s leaders, we are confident that Verosa will not only help us achieve our business goals, but will also help us to deliver a first-class experience for employees.
“We are looking forward to working with the team at Verosa following a rigorous selection process. We selected the company for its targeted and flexible offering, as well as the style and approach of its team.
“Since the outbreak of COVID-19 the Verosa team have worked hard to adapt and adjust and change both the delivery style of the programme and refocussing the content.”
Instead of face to face training, participants are now invited online, to virtual classrooms, where the learning is live, interactive and engaging. Delegates engage in one-to-one coaching, networking opportunities, background reading and informal touch points. The modularised programme focuses on four key aspects of management and leadership: Managing Myself, Managing Others, Developing Others, Developing Myself.
Beth Hood, Director at Verosa says, “We are delighted to be working with IRIS Software Group. It is a forward-thinking company with a dedication to supporting people and developing a great future-proof workplace culture. It’s so vital that businesses use this opportunity to continue to invest in their people. At a time when there is a very real risk of disengagement and low productivity, Iris is leading the way by remaining committed to its people vision. There’s a real appetite to develop the culture of the business, right from the top down.”
“Our programme will be measured through key metrics, driving improved performance within the business, as well as employee engagement and experience. We know there is a very clear and documented link between the quality of leadership across an organisation and its results. At a time when businesses are having to be more creative and courageous than ever to develop and increase market share, good leadership cannot be overlooked as a ‘nice to have’.”
