Utility company announces new depot in Yorkshire expansion
A utility company has announced that it is expanding into Yorkshire with a new depot.
Aptus Utilities is launching its fifth UK depot, which will be based in Wakefield, and will support Yorkshire housebuilders.
The new depot is a fully refurbished unit at Normanton Industrial Estate, which has more than 14,000 sq ft of office and warehouse space, plus additional yard space, providing a base for the company’s growing Yorkshire operations.
The new facility will enhance Aptus Utilities’ regional capability, facilitating growth by enabling it to meet the demand for services from new clients.
Mark Clegg, Aptus Utilities’ operations director, commented: “We have been working in the region for a number of years and investing in a Yorkshire base was the next logical step to take in order to support our clients.
“We have seen increasing demand for our services in the region and the new depot will enable us to cement existing partnerships, but also support us in developing new relationships with local independent builders who may not be aware of our multi utility offering.”
