NHS approved pharmacy works around the clock to provide healthcare services for patients, care homes, GPs and hospitals

NHS approved pharmacy dispensing hub, Smarta Healthcare, is working hard to deliver vital medication to community members across Northamptonshire during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Located in Bedford, the medication management specialist is continuing to offer its free NHS and private prescription home delivery service, to ensure patients receive medication within three working days or on the same day during emergencies.

Not only does the service ensure vulnerable community members receive their medication without having to visit a pharmacy, but it also provides piece of mind to the families of those who have been advised by the Government to remain at home.

To help patients stay safe and administer their prescriptions correctly, Smarta Healthcare also provides special appliances for people that need help in taking their medication, including tools for the visually impaired and patients suffering with Dementia.

The team of qualified Pharmacists and healthcare professionals are also on hand via telephone to provide advice and guidance on treating minor ailments, in turn reducing stress on vital NHS services including GP surgeries.
