Recovery initiative launches for lockdown-affected businesses
Sheffield businesses are being encouraged to utilise an intensive support programme to help them recover from the impact of the Coronavirus lockdown.
The Sheffield City Regional Growth Hub has launched its ‘Re-Start to Growth’ initiative, which offers business in the region access to experts to help assess, plan and restart their business.
The free, two-day program will be led by an experienced growth specialist who will offer guidance on strategic planning and leadership, sales and marketing, operations, financial advice, skills and digital services.
The initiative begins with an initial discussion with one of the Growth Hub advisors, which identifies the biggest challenges a business is facing and its priorities for moving forward.
Next, a Growth Hub business advisor will draw up a plan of action, with defined outputs and milestones for a business to meet over a fixed period of time. If further help is required, the business may be eligible to access additional support.
James Muir, chair of the Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership, said: “Following the impact of Coronavirus, many businesses are finding that they are facing difficulties and need expert advice and support – this is where we can help.
“By drawing on the expertise of our advisors, business owners can address their key challenges and we can provide essential guidance when and where it is most needed.”
