Facing COVID-19: The tech firm aiming to support SMEs with social distancing through algorithm-led design
A technology company specialising in data intelligence and workplace sensors has launched a solution in a bid to support firms with returning to work.
Freespace has unveiled a social distancing tech solution to help businesses return to their workplaces safely and adhering to social distancing following the COVID-19 outbreak.
The firm’s tech-led solution features a combination of sensors and digital systems, designed to help identify and communicate which available spaces are safe for employees to use.
Raj Krishnamurthy, CEO of Freespace, explained: “Forward-thinking businesses are leveraging technology to support everything from social distancing and occupancy-based cleaning to compliance and planning.
“Tech-based solutions that offer real-time occupancy and daily performance analytics will help employers design and deliver a safe working environment.
“The insight gleaned from sensor data, coupled with positive behavioural reinforcement via digital signage and visual desk cues, will enable organisations to learn and adapt in line with the challenges ahead.
“We believe that our flexible social distancing solution will assist workplace, real estate, HR and facilities leads to think about the options they have in designing a strategy that will work for their organisations and employees.”
