Facing COVID-19: The entrepreneur launching a wellness platform to support home-workers
A Teesside entrepreneur is launching a wellness platform to tackle productivity issues brought on by the increase in home working due to coronavirus.
The chief executive of Productive Plus, whose clients include Thirteen Group, has pivoted the health and wellbeing company to accommodate the virtual nature of business during lockdown.
After identifying a downward trend in productivity in some of his contacts whilst speaking to them remotely, Harry Rowbotham designed his platform Platinum Wellbeing.
He commented: “A lot of my work involved visiting businesses and talking with staff about their work and trying to improve their processes and habits in order for them to make the most of the working day.
“But since lockdown, because this has not been possible, I was at a crossroads where I could sit back and wait for this all to blow over, or I could try and adapt to the current situation to help others.
“After canvassing some of my clients, I discovered many that are new to working at home are finding it challenging to remain switched on 9-5.”
