LSH Auto to reopen eight Mercedes-Benz Dealerships
LSH Auto UK, part of LSH International, one of the largest dealer groups for Mercedes-Benz cars worldwide, will be reopening its eight UK dealerships across the North West and the Midlands from 1 June.
From Monday, Mercedes-Benz of Stockport, Manchester Central, Whitefield, Macclesfield, Erdington, Birmingham, Solihull and Tamworth will welcome customers back into their showrooms. All sites will be operating on an appointment only basis to manage social distancing and a range of appropriate safety measures have been introduced to maintain the safety of customers and colleagues.
During the lockdown period, the aftersales and servicing facilities at Mercedes-Benz of Stockport and Mercedes-Benz of Erdington remained open in order to provide essential services for key workers including NHS staff, police and firefighters. The teams provided customer and technical assistance for Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles used for a range of customers from emergency services, to home shopping, postal and parcel deliveries, utilities and breakdown services.
Martyn Webb adds: “We have an outstanding team who work together to give our customers the best care in the business. I’m proud of the way that all of our colleagues have pulled together during this difficult time.
“We’ve made the most of the time available whilst our showrooms have been temporarily closed to plan improvements to the business so that we can deliver an even better customer experience on our return.
“We are looking forward to welcoming our colleagues and customers back into our showrooms and we’re putting their safety at the heart of everything we’re doing. Our approach is to do this slowly and safely, which is why we’re offering an appointment only service at the moment.
“We also recognise that many of our customers will wish to stay at home. With that in mind, we have launched a full digital platform so that customers can browse online, book a solo test drive from their home and if they buy a vehicle, they can click and collect or arrange home delivery.”
