Clitheroe barber, Joseph Lanzante, to open new salon in Whalley

Leading Barber, Joseph Lanzante has announced plans to open a new salon in Lancashire’s attractive village of Whalley when the UK’s lockdown is lifted.

Joining his successful business empire which includes ‘The Mens Room Clitheroe’ and a world class training facility in Accrington, ‘The Mens Room, Whalley’ will see his well-established brand branch out in the Ribble Valley from the 4th July. The salon will be open for extended hours seven days a week.

With more than 30 years in the business, The Mens Room, Whalley is the next exciting step for Joseph as he continues to expand his barbering craftmanship across the county.

Renovations in the new barbershop are now complete with no expense spared on the fit out. Behind the scenes photos on social media reveal vintage barbering chairs which have been reupholstered by local tradesmen in imitation snakeskin fabric. The spacious reception room has seating for up to 12 customers, allowing for comfortable social distancing when business resumes.

Joseph is currently advertising for experienced or aspiring barbers who are willing to go through his rigorous training process to meet his high standards. Having already made a name as one of the UK’s top trainers, Joseph will ensure his employees attain the highest level of skill.

Joseph recognised the opportunity to invest into Whalley, commenting; “Whalley is thriving community at the heart of the Ribble Valley which continues to attract innovative small businesses every year.

The streets, cafes and shops are full of friendly faces so I’m excited to open our new location when it is safe for people to return to normality.“

Joseph will offer a range of barbering services at ‘The Mens Room, Whalley’, including his classic cut throat shave, which he believes is an important aspect of the industry that isn’t used widely enough.
