Making Premises Safe From Coronavirus
With many shops in England beginning to reopen thoughts are turning to how safe it is for consumers to visit them during the coronavirus pandemic.
Despite queues at some retailers on Monday, various reports have indicated that there remains a high level of concern amongst consumers about returning to physical stores. In order to ensure the recovery of the high street it is important that retailers can put their customers’ minds at ease.
Disinfect Direct, a leading UK specialist decontamination company, has introduced a complete programme of disinfection, decontamination and protection that is perfect for all premises. The system is already being successfully used by one major global fashion retailer at all of its UK stores.
Disinfect Direct uses electrostatic spraying to ensure all surfaces and areas are covered, including those that are shadowed, vertical and the undersides of surfaces. The specialist disinfectant solution used, produced by British company, TECcare, not only removes the virus from any surface but prevents a reintroduction of it by ‘killing’ any virus particles that come into contact with the sprayed surface.
Andrew Stammers, Director of Disinfect Direct UK, said: “Using a combination of electrostatic spraying with products from TECcare means we can ensure our clients’ environments will be free from viruses, bacteria and fungi within seconds of application and for up to 30 days after.
“TECcare’s solutions are completely odourless, chlorine-free and alcohol-free so customers won’t be able to detect any obvious signs of the solution,” explained Andrew. “They are even safe to use on food, so once sprayed the environment is completely safe for people and pets.
“Customers will be able to enjoy their usual in store shopping experience, with the added confidence of knowing they will be even safer and less likely to catch any virus or infection than they were before.”
Disinfect Direct has seen enquiries for their services rocket with more than 300 received in the last six weeks. The disinfectant product and electrostatic spraying are suitable for all environments. With businesses everywhere seeking to offer their customers, employees, pupils, patients and visitors assurances that their premises are virus free environments, this demand is unlikely to dip any time soon.
