‘Boutique’ Leeds city centre workspace approaches completion
The refurbishment of an office building in Leeds into a flexible workspace is nearing completion.
Work at 2 The Embankment in the centre of the city is on track to complete in September, following a full transformation into a flexible workspace by fund manager CBRE Global Investor.
Formerly occupied by Yorkshire Water, the building is situated on Sovereign Street, and upon completion will offer spaces ranging from 825 sq ft to 27,373 sq ft, to be marketed by Knight Frank.
Eamon Fox, partner at the Leeds office of Knight Frank, commented: “2 The Embankment is recognised as a prime site in the good company of major firms such as KPMG, Addleshaw Goddard, Eversheds, BT and ASDA and this repositioning seeks to appeal to both creative and corporate industries in collaborative enterprise.
“The property enjoys a riverside presence yet is only a few minutes’ walk from Leeds City Train Station and Trinity Leeds. We are unique in our ability to provide high quality suites from 825 sq ft where an occupier can have their own entrance and dedicated suite.”
