Hallam appoints new Heads of Paid Media and SEO
Hallam, Nottingham’s award-winning digital marketing agency, is pleased to announce two further major appointments to its senior management team as it looks to strengthen its strategic digital offering.
Jack Brown, who has worked in PPC for more than four years, will be stepping into the role of Head of Paid Media after contributing to a number of major client wins. Meanwhile, search expert, Elliot Haines, has been appointed as Head of SEO, taking over from Charlotte Tomlinson, who was promoted to Media Director.
In total, there have been 11 internal promotions in the company in the last three months, following Julio Taylor and Jake Third’s appointments as CEO and MD at the beginning of May respectively.
Hallam, formerly known as Hallam Internet, is now hiring externally for a few other roles.
Jack’s new role will see him step up from his current position as Senior PPC Strategist. Hallam’s paid team has a close relationship with Google, and Jack’s work in the team contributed to Hallam being named Google’s Top Digital Agency in Europe in 2019. Jack will lead the paid media department as they look to continue to increase the service offering, including PPC automation and machine learning.
Elliot, a University of Nottingham graduate, joined Hallam two-and-a-half-years ago and has worked his way up to become Head of SEO after learning and growing his skills at Hallam. As part of his new role, Elliot will lead the SEO team forward as they look to work more collaboratively with Hallam’s UX and technical teams.
Former account managers, Natasha Green and Bethany Pigott, have also been named Delivery team leaders in project management and account management respectively.
Jack said: “I’m thrilled to be part of the senior management team at Hallam, as well as driving our strategic approach to paid media. It’s a fantastic opportunity to be able to head up one of the most talented teams of PPC professionals in the UK, and work collaboratively with Elliot and the rest of the team to unify our approach.”
Speaking on the new hires, Media Director Charlotte Tomlinson, said: “I’d like to say a massive congratulations to Elliot and Jack who we’re confident are the right people to lead two of our biggest departments going forward.
“These appointments will mean we can take our offering to the next level in a competitive landscape where digital transformation is disrupting the search industry. Our strength is in our people, and we’re delighted that these two, who have both grown at Hallam, are now stepping into key positions within the company.”
