Since March, the company has seen a raft of new recruits across Sales, Accounts, Marketing, and Administration teams. During the lockdown, staff, including new recruits were working remotely to continue fulfilling orders and getting essential items to key workers.
With lockdown measures easing around the UK, Multibrands International has begun to welcome UK staff back to the office, with strict social distancing and hygiene rules in place.
Established in 1998, UK-based Multibrands International Ltd manufactures and supplies a range of premium quality, own-brand, everyday FMCG consumer essentials including personal hygiene, and advanced LED household lighting solutions to leading wholesalers and independent buying groups worldwide. The company currently employs over 50 members of staff with additional administration and production facilities in India and China.
Director at Multibrands International, Rizwana Hussain comments: “Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, we ramped up the production of our Panodyne range and expanded it to support those on the frontline.
“The success of the expansion and the ambition of our team here at Multibrands means we have continued to grow despite the Covid-19 pandemic and we are in a position to create a number of permanent job vacancies across the business. This recruitment drive will also help us to support our local economy by getting professionals around the region back into work during these uncertain times.”
