Leeds City College partners with LeedsBID to deliver NEBOSH courses

Leeds City College (LCC), part of Luminate Education Group, is working with LeedsBID to deliver its NEBOSH courses.

The college, which achieved an outstanding 100% pass rate on its General Certificate NEBOSH course,is starting the first post Covid-19 lockdown course in the state-of-the-art facilities at Ambition: Leeds in the heart of the city. Commercial Course Co-ordinator, Rhonda Smith, spoke about the success of the NEBOSH course and the impact of Covid-19 saying ‘learning never stopped, we pride ourselves on delivering high quality training courses and worked hard to move our courses online while maintaining an outstanding customer experience.’

“We are really pleased to reopen our face-to-face training delivery in partnership with LeedsBID, welcoming businesses and the public back to Leeds. As we all adopt to the ‘new norm’ we have followed government guidelines to ensure all our students and employers receive first class training in a safe and welcoming environment.”

NEBOSH is one of the most globally recognised health, safety and environment qualifications and demand for knowledge and expertise in this area is soaring following the complexity of Covid-19.

LCC is proud to continue to grow its NEBOSH suite of qualifications which already includes: NEBOSH General Certificate, NEBOSH Diploma, NEBOSH National Certificate in Environmental Management, NEBOSH Fire Certificate and launching in September NEBOSH Construction Certificate.

The Business Engagement team has a large range of Health and Safety courses including IOSH and other industry-recognised compliance programmes to support employers during these challenging times.
