Entrepreneurial artist supports London printing businesses with new venture
A London-based artist has used the restrictions of lockdown to fulfil a lifelong business ambition as well as support the city’s printing businesses.
Fine art illustrator Christian Azolan has launched his own business in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis.
Christian, who is a Saatchi Art-listed artist, said: “When lockdown started I found, for the first time in years, that I had a lot of spare time on my hands.
“I’ve always been the type of person to keep busy, be productive and take a chance, and so I decided to launch my business, which is something I’ve always wanted to do.”
After seeing local businesses struggle during the pandemic, Christian made the decision to work predominantly with printers based in east London.
Christian explained: “I could have used a printer based abroad for half the cost . “I want to support small businesses in England, especially if they produce top quality work, and that’s worth paying a little more.”
